Mindfulness Practices to Enhance Your Meditation Routine🌞

Being Present. Right Here. Right Now

Hi Reader,

What first comes to mind when I talk about presence?

I think it's safe to say that depending on how you incorporate mindfulness practices into your life, this might not even have crossed your mind. Too much noise outside in the world!

Today, I pulled some cards, looking for guidance for the day, and this is where I came upon:

"Perspective...This moment is a breath in the timeline of your life. This life is a fleeting moment in the tapestry of your soul's experience. Your soul's experience is a flash in the timeline of the known Universe. And the known Universe is a grain of sand in the unknown Universe. Take a moment to see the bigger picture."
- Rebecca Campbell, The Starseed Oracle Guidebook

This part really got me to ponder how many times we miss the big picture because we are busy with things that sometimes (or a lot of times) don't even matter? Or we get worried, or fearful, or judgmental, based on unfounded ideas or misconceptions we pick up on our trail?

As a recovery overthinker, I know how it feels. You never think you need a moment of respite until you really do (or the universe makes you take a "vacation" anyway).

But what if we take a time to simply be here and now? No pressure. Just present. A moment of quiet space just to be. But then comes the challenge. How?

I, for example, thought I was an example of presence...until I took a course of Eckhart Tolle and one of the lessons was just sit to have my meals fully present. By that I mean, no distractions whatsoever. No TV, no cellphone. Nothing. Just you and your meal, savoring every aspect of it in the present moment.

It was a real test! But at the same token, it was liberating.

And it's this type of presence that I invite you to today, as I share our post on 10 mindfulness practices that can help you be present, improve your meditation, and boost your well-being.

And, please let me know what you think. Actually, reply back and let me know which one of those is your favorite. Or, perhaps, if there is any missing from the list you want to recommend.

Up until now, we’ve focused a lot on meditation techniques and manifestation practices. But here’s the truth I can no longer ignore: Techniques don’t create lasting change. But identity does. Meditation Brings Abundance Newsletter Benefits of Meditation for Sleep Image by Rogue Li Hi Reader, Recently, while traveling and spending some time at my parents' home, we were chatting about sleeping patterns. Or the fact that my parents, who are in their 70s, can fall asleep anytime, anywhere, whether it's by the noise of a construction zone, with the sun searing in their faces, while watching TV, or something else. As a retired ob-gyn, my mom credits this to her early years working in...

Meditation Brings Abundance Newsletter How to Balance Your Chakras Image by Sukha Yogashala Hi Reader, Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about fear — not in a heavy way, but in that curious “why do our minds do this?” way —especially considering the aching people are feeling around the world. You know how some fears feel so real in your body, like your heart tightens or your stomach drops, even though nothing has actually happened yet? That’s not random. Fear lives in the nervous system, in the...
